ATLANTA RACE CAMP IS A GROUP TRAINING EXPERIENCE FOR THOSE LOOKING TO ENHANCE THEIR HALF/MARATHON PERFORMANCE AND RACE GOALS. THIS YEAR’S EXPERIENCE IS FOCUSED ON THE WINTER 2024/2025 RACING SEASON. WE AIM TO HELP ATHLETES TRAIN SMARTER AND GO FURTHER TOGETHER.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
ATLANTA RACE CAMP IS A 16-WEEK TRAINING PROGRAM DESIGNED FOR RUNNERS WHO ARE LOOKING TO IMPROVE THEIR PERFORMANCE FOR AN UPCOMING HALF OR FULL MARATHON RACE. THE PROGRAM OFFERS:

TRAINING BEGINS: NOVEMBER 4 FOR EVERYONE
TRAINING ENDS: FEBRUARY 8 FOR OPTION A (MESA ARIZONA), MARCH 2 FOR OPTION B (PUBLIX)
NO PAYMENT DUE UNTIL APPLICATION APPROVAL. ALL APPLICANTS WHO ARE APPROVED WILL BE ONBOARDED TO OUR SYSTEM IMMEDIATELY WHERE THEY CAN PAY THEIR NON-REFUNDABLE FEE TO JOIN THE PROGRAM.

SATURDAYS (VARIED LOCATION @ 7:45AM): LONG RUN WORKOUT
WHAT TO EXPECT
YOU WILL RECEIVE OUR RACE CAMP OVERVIEW BOOK, OUTLINING THE TRAINING SCHEDULE WHICH INCLUDES TEMPO, SPEED-BASED, AND LONG RUN WORKOUTS. THE PLAN WILL ALSO INCLUDE INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTION ON RECOVERY, STRETCHING, TYPES OF WORKOUTS, MOBILITY, AND HYDRATION. YOU WILL ALSO RECEIVE ACCESS TO THE PROGRAM-EXCLUSIVE RACE CAMP DISCORD GROUP WHICH WILL BE THE PRIMARY PLATFORM FOR COMMUNICATION BETWEEN RUNNERS AND COACHES.

Yes, we encourage runners of all levels to apply.

This is Atlanta Run Club’s inaugural marathon training experience for runners training for the Mesa or Publix Half Marathon or Full Marathon. The 16 week training program is designed to bring dedicated runners together to work hard and push each other to new limits.

You do not need to attend every in-person practice session. However, we are looking for people who will be able to prioritize and attend the Tempo Tuesday training sessions at Do Not Disturb.

The Camp is designed to have runs in-person for you to learn from and grow stronger by being surrounded by a group of athletes committed to the process of training. We prefer all athletes to attend practices if their schedule permits. However, we understand that schedules, commitments, and holidays may interfere and some practices will need to be missed.

After the application window closes, emails will start to go out on a rolling basis to each person who has applied notifying them of their selection status.
SEASON 02 (WINTER 2024/2025)

OUR SELECTION PROCESS IS CHRONOLOGICAL IN TIME OF SUBMISSION UNTIL MAX CAPACITY IS REACHED. WE ARE LOOKING FOR THOSE COMMITTED TO THE PROGRAM AND TRAINING SO THAT WE CAN PROVIDE GROWTH TO THOSE EAGER TO PUSH THEMSELVES. ARC’S VISION FOR RACE CAMP IS TO TRAIN TOGETHER & COMPETE TOGETHER. WITH THIS YEAR’S FOCUS ON THE MESA ARIZONA 2025 AND PUBLIX ATLANTA 2025 RACES, WE HEAVILY CONSIDER THOSE APPLICANTS WHO DO PLAN ON PARTICIPATING IN THE RACE AS A TEAM.
